DESCRIPTION:From Baylor University School of Engineering and Computer Science: \nPrepare to learn about the cutting edge of spectrum and wireless technology with the inaugural “Spectrum Sizzle” Workshop! This residential workshop is specifically designed for undergraduate Electrical or Computer Engineering majors\, and attendees will get hands-on experience with and learn about the latest spectrum and wireless technologies: an area rich with career\, graduate education\, and research opportunities. Participants will experience the following during the workshop: \n\nSpectrum Policy\, Proceedings\, and Rule-Making\nPassive Wireless Systems\, Spectrum Analysis\, and Frequency Allocations\nCommunication Systems\, Modulation\, and Coexistence\nWireless Circuits\nRadar Systems\nPanel Sessions: Spectrum Careers\, Graduate School\, and Work/Life\nOn-Campus Transmitter Hunt\n\nHeld June 5-8\, 2023\, on the campus of Baylor University in Waco\, Texas\, the workshop is sponsored by a conference grant from the National Science Foundation.
