About Caleb Reinking
Caleb Reinking is the Associate Director for Research Software Engineering at the University of Notre Dame’s Center for Research Computing (CRC). He has industry experience in developing safety critical embedded aircraft avionics systems prior to joining Notre Dame’s CRC in 2013. As a research programmer, Reinking contributed to multiple cyberinfrastructure projects studying mosquitoes and vector-borne disease transmission. He has engaged as a SpectrumX Research Partner since 2023 and has been involved in both seed and flagship project activities. In his current role, Reinking oversees the CRC Research Software Engineering team and project portfolio while working directly with faculty to draft competitive research proposals.
