Abstract

This poster presents a data-driven methodology for evaluating spectrum sharing opportunities in occupied bands. Our approach integrates multi-source data collection, structured categorization of incumbent services, and an interactive visualization system that maps nationwide radio service distributions. This visualization reveals spectrum usage patterns, guiding targeted link budget analyses and interference assessments between potential new services and incumbents. Applied to the 12.7-13.25 GHz band, our methodology identified promising sharing opportunities with specific fixed, mobile and satellite services. This framework can be replicated across frequency bands to enhance spectrum utilization efficiency.
