Abstract
Due to the high sensitivity of microwave radiometers, and the proliferation of 5G millimeter-wave base stations and satellites in communications constellations, it is important to examine the amplitude and direction of beams generated by harmonics and intermodulation products. Our team is working in developing a tool to calculate the fundamental, harmonic, and intermodulation products patterns for arrays, based on the nonlinear characteristics of the power amplifiers in the array. The work will take into account the array elements active impedance and radiation pattern at the various frequencies, to determine the array pattern.
