Abstract
Time Modulated Arrays utilize periodic sampling of the array elements to form radiation patterns and determine incident angles through a single RF chain. This method calculates the harmonic characteristics of received signals to improve precision via time accumulation while minimizing the need for multiple RF chains. Our team is evaluating the use of small TMAs to provide electronic beam forming capabilities with a single RF chain, to reduce costs.
