About Anas Saleh

A junior undergraduate student at Lamar University in Texas, Anas Saleh is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with interests in RF engineering, spectrum management, and circuit design. In Summer 2025, Saleh completed the SpectrumX REU+ internship at the University of Virginia, where he, with the help of a research group, designed PCB layouts for a preselector bank of Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) filters and conducted high-frequency measurements using Vector Network Analyzers. Working closely with a team of graduate students and professors in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department, Saleh contributed to optimizing RF performance and troubleshooting design challenges.

At the end of August 2025, Saleh participated in the SpectrumX Summer School and Wireless Hackathon at the University at Albany, gaining hands-on experience in wireless network architectures, spectrum policy, and spectrum data analysis. At Lamar, Saleh serves as Treasurer of the IEEE student branch, helping organize technical workshops and student engagement events.
