About Makayla Kienlen
Makayla Kienlen is a third-year undergraduate at the University of California, Santa Cruz, double majoring in Applied Mathematics and Computer Engineering. She am interested in machine learning, especially its applications in spectrum management. This past Summer, Kienlen participated in the NSF | SpectrumX REU+ program at the University of Notre Dame, where she worked on using large language models (LLMs) with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques to answer questions about FCC SQL databases.
