SWG

Strategic Coordination

The SWG oversees the development and evolution of the center vision, strategic plan, and high-level aspects of the implementation plan.

Scope and Goal

The Strategic Coordination Working Group (SWG) oversees and guides the overall direction of NSF SpectrumX’s research and activities. The SWG facilitates high-level interactions with the NSF, government stakeholders, and the NSF SpectrumX External Advisory Board (EAB). Leveraging the expertise and perspective of these groups ensures the center’s efforts align with the goals of U.S. leadership and with U.S. spectrum regulatory and policy objectives, principles, and needs.

Internally, the SWG is responsible for growing center visibility and funding as well as the development and execution of the implementation plan, including project selection, budgeting, and progress evaluations; however, it relies heavily on the other working groups to carry out these processes. The SWG includes the Center Director and Associate Director and welcomes all other working group directors and deputy directors to engage as appropriate.
