SpectrumX is hiring!

The Notre Dame Wireless Institute is hiring a Managing Program Director to support its leading role in SpectrumX – An NSF Spectrum Innovation Center. This is a COO-like position for a highly motivated individual who will work closely with faculty leaders, research administrators, as well as industry and government collaborators to ramp up center operations and ensure long-term success and impact.

SpectrumX—initiated by a 5-year, $25M center grant from the U.S. National Science Foundation—is the world’s largest academic hub where all radio spectrum stakeholders can innovate, collaborate, and contribute to maximizing the societal benefits provided by this precious resource.

SpectrumX is conducting strategic research, education, and workforce development projects to transform spectrum management through flexible licenses, new coexistence approaches, and cloud automation and to unleash the full potential of 5G and beyond while expanding diverse commercial, scientific, and government uses of spectrum.

SpectrumX maintains core values of serving as a trusted resource and balancing interdisciplinary, intercultural, and individual perspectives as its foundation for developing new technologies, economic analyses, and policy options for spectrum use.
